Formerly Warranty America, we are now doing business as American Auto Shield (AAS). As a positive approach to mutual concerns relating to the automotive aftermarket industry, AAS determined it was in the best interest of consumers that our industry take a proactive stance in addressing and eliminating these concerns. Although AAS has always developed and referred to our programs as Vehicle Service Contracts, among the improvements we felt necessary was the need to drop the word "Warranty" from our name to help consumers distinguish the difference between Vehicle Service Contracts developed by American Auto Shield and warranties or extended warranties available through manufacturers. 

American Auto Shield will continue our effort to provide the highest level of service to our clients. What defines AAS is our dedicated team of agents, vendors and employees who embrace the philosophy that service after the sale is more important than the sale itself.
